Non-Recap

I didn't watch a minute of it; I went to see the pirate movie. Brian Fuentes pitched a perfect sixth. Matt Holliday was 0 for 3. As for the pirates, good stuff. I highly suggest you watch the first one immediately before going as I did, because otherwise you're going to have no idea what's going on. It's not really the sort of movie where that's important, but if you're going to make a day of it, you might as well. The ending was a lot like Empire, I thought. I totally wasn't expecting Lando to freeze Captain Jack Sparrow in carbonite and turn him over to Boba Fett. I'm travelling to Chicago tomorrow. You know what this means? Yes, it means at least two more opportunities to boo the Cubs. Hooray!

About the Toaster
Baseball Toaster runs on some experimental software called Fairpole. It's still under development. For more information, please visit the Fairpole blog, or read the FAQ. |
Oh and I'm really getting sick of Ozzie Gullien. He's just a manager, I don't care about anything he does. Apparently, ESPN and FOX feel like it's important to cover every little thing he says or does.
